I have been doing a miserable job of updating daily. I sort of have an excuse for the last few days, because I had surgery, but same-day surgery doesn't stop me from doing anything. I've just been sort of lazy and listless and distinctly unimaginative.

I'm not nearly as eloquent as I'd like. Or even coherent, really, this is pretty terrible writing.

You shut your mouth, I spent six hours playing Rock Band on New Year's Eve. That makes me a bit of a hypocrite, but it's something to be experienced. Also, I love umlauts.

Hey, it's the new year. First post of 2008 - hopefully this year's good to everyone. 2007 was a decent year for me - I would write more about it, but I'll come off sounding as more of a douchebag than usual, and I'm a total sloth right now.

HOWEVER

I've neglected to update for three or four days, and with that, I've neglected to post music for everyone. Here's a few tracks from a dance mix I'm pulling together, enjoy. I like how that took more time than actually writing an entry would haven taken.

I'm probably going to enter a writing competition soon - you know, it looks good on college resumes. Would people here be willing to proofread and offer input? I'd love you an awful lot. I would have to find something to write about though, and that might be an issue.

I'm sorry I've been missing out on posting music like I promised - I'll throw in an extra mp3  today, for all two of you who read this. Once I get home, anyways.

I figured out why I have migraines all the time! I'm a goddamn genius.

Now, for the last year or so, I've been having intense migraines, accompanied by auras - in my case, flickering lights and blurred vision that manifest several minutes before the headache. I've been trying to figure out what exactly was causing these headaches in that time, but usually I would be too busy with a headache to figure out what exactly was wrong.

Earlier today I found myself overcome with one of these migraines while studying for the AP Art History exam and went to do other 'homework' - namely, Xbox Live. After emerging from a rousing game of Team Slayer, I noticed my headaches had subsided. This wasn't new information, but it was at this point that I finally made the connection.

It's not that shooting people in the face resolves my headaches - rather, thinking intensely causes them. Focusing intently on homework or music, or even like, Monopoly has led to auras and migraines for me. Stuff like Halo doesn't require intense thought, it's mostly reflexive. If I'm right, this would explain a lot of things - my inability to concentrate on one subject at a time and why I'm always thinking about three or four things at any given time.

Also - I missed out on music for the last two days (today is technically the 27th, I guess.) Here's music for Christmas and the day after, respectively.
